Were we wrong about buying it?

I'm sad. :(

stecy.dubetag:support.hglabhq.com,2012-10-18:Comment/408642732016-10-03T14:21:22Z2016-10-03T14:21:22ZError communicating with HgLab when using mercurial 3.9, no problem with 3.8

Stecy,

Thanks for reporting. I'm aware of this issue, but still
struggling to find
a fix.

Anton Gogolevtag:support.hglabhq.com,2012-10-18:Comment/408642732016-10-03T19:31:57Z2016-10-03T19:31:57ZError communicating with HgLab when using mercurial 3.9, no problem with 3.8

Stecy,

Please, update to HgLab 1.10.7. It's not yet publicy announced,

Should I do a backup?

stecy.dubetag:support.hglabhq.com,2012-10-18:Comment/408642732016-10-03T19:44:26Z2016-10-03T19:44:26ZError communicating with HgLab when using mercurial 3.9, no problem with 3.8

Well, it's always a good idea to do backups when performing
updates.

There are several more fixes in this release, but none of them
touch HgLab
Home Directory. So theoretically you should be just fine.

Anton Gogolevtag:support.hglabhq.com,2012-10-18:Comment/408642732016-10-03T19:57:36Z2016-10-03T19:57:36ZError communicating with HgLab when using mercurial 3.9, no problem with 3.8

Installation failed.
In the log there is an error: InstallFinalize. Return value 3.

Further up there is:

Here's what you need to do. Go to the Internet Information
Services Manager
and delete HgLab Application Pool and HgLab Virtual Directory. And
then
retry the installation.

I can also assist you ove TeamViewer, if that's at all
possible.

Anton Gogolevtag:support.hglabhq.com,2012-10-18:Comment/408642732016-10-03T20:30:09Z2016-10-03T20:30:09ZError communicating with HgLab when using mercurial 3.9, no problem with 3.8

Ok, working now.
And the bug is fixed !!!!

Thank you very much.

What are the other changes in this release?

stecy.dubetag:support.hglabhq.com,2012-10-18:Comment/408642732016-10-03T20:56:49Z2016-10-03T20:56:49ZError communicating with HgLab when using mercurial 3.9, no problem with 3.8

These are mostly minor optimizations, nothing of
significance.

Glad I could help you.

Anton Gogolev
