My organization is having problems updating to the newest
Mercurial version (1.10.6) from the previous version 1.9.7.
We get the following error: Could not determine Mercurial Version.
This is at the "Hg Executable Path" section in the installer.

All help is appreciated, thanks! :)

Jespertag:support.hglabhq.com,2012-10-18:Comment/408767552016-09-30T10:05:02Z2016-09-30T10:05:04ZHGLab Mecurial update - Could not determine Mercurial version.

Was missing the Mercurial installation altogether in the newest

Do you have Mercurial installed on the server?

Anton Gogolevtag:support.hglabhq.com,2012-10-18:Comment/408767552016-10-04T08:03:42Z2016-10-04T08:03:43ZHGLab Mecurial update - Could not determine Mercurial version.

Hey Anton.

Sadly my problem isn’t resolved. You are right about
Mercurial missing, but after install of Mercurial standalone
(Mercurial 3.9.1 MSI installer - x64 Windows - requires admin
rights, from: https://www.mercurial-scm.org/downloads
)
The install fails at the end and is reverting all of the install
steps. The log points to mercurial as the issue when I look at it
with my eyes.
I found somewhere in the install guide that any mercurial version
3.x.x+ should be sufficient, so I really hope that you can help me.
Thanks in advance :)

Saw these in the install log:
Property(C): INSTALLLEVEL = 1
Property(C): WIXUI_INSTALLDIR_VALID = 1
Property(C): WIXUI_HOMEDIRECTORY_VALID = 1
Property(C): WIXUI_HGEXECUTABLEPATH_ERROR_REASON = Command 'hg

Do you have any news regarding possible errors in the log or

MSI is a mess. May I ask you to completely remove all traces of
HgLab (that
is, delete everything from under C:\Program Files (x86)\HgLab HQ
and from
IIS) and start the install over? Or this is unacceptable in your
situation?

Anton Gogolev
