HgLab Mercurial server version and users hg.exe versions

We have had several problems with repository corruption. It seems like user’s different hg.exe versions might cause some problems. Hg versions have been varying between 3.4.2, 3.7.3, 3.9 and we are not quite sure of our all user’s hg versions. Some are using command line tool, others SourceTree or TortoiseHg. Moreover we are using Jenkins and Teamcity for build automation which are using their own hg version.

How can I check the hglab mercurial server version?
It there any possibilities to restrict users to certain hg.exe version?
