Problem Moving HgLab to New Server
Hg Lab version 1.12.4
I have backed up and restored the database and home directory to the new system. During installation of Hg Lab I enter the new connection string and home directory. No errors during installation, but when browsing to Hg Lab I get the following error message:
HgLab Error
There's something wrong under the hood.
followed by the attached stack dump.

I tried upgrading to 1.14.7, but unfortunately that doesn't solve the error.
System:
Windows 10 1909
SQL Server 2019 (15.0.2070)
Mercurial 5.4.0

I was able to track it down to SQL Server 2019. Switching back to SQL Server 2014 works without error.

Hi.
Can we setup a screen sharing session here?

Sorry, I removed SQL Server Express 2019 and installed SQL Server Express 2014 instead. Now everything is working as expected again.

I have another machine with SQL Server Express 2019 running. What about copying the HgLab database onto it and give it another try?

Uwe,
Sorry for the delay. Is the issue still relevant?

For me it is working perfectly in the moment. As long as you have no need to analyze the problem I had with SQL 2019, we can close this case.
