Installed as per instructions -
Database is running
Web site is running
It prompted me to create admin login, BUT then, at the sign in, it just bounces back to the sign in.

I checked the database, all the tables are there, User table has my login.

Are there any log files I can check?

Cheers

    Hello!

There are logs, but they're of very little use in your particular situation.

There are two ways out of this. You can either drop all tables from HgLab database and then restart the setup, or you can insert this:

    $2a$12$CfPvdFheNQn5sNjc/hkUo.Ltg4PTS59cY9U2TRO1QSBj1hRoznMoS

into PasswordHash for your user and then try to log in with password 123456.

    Hi,
Thanks. - I changed the password hash, but still the same effect.

If a login fails should I get an error message? Because I don't.

It just refreshes the signin page, at this URL

    https://localhost/hglab/signin?to=%252fhglab%252fdashboard

    Cheers

    Paul, Gravity

Are you using Internet Explorer? Additionally, is HgLab running on localhost and is accessed via something like http://localhost/hglab?

    Hello again.

Unfortunately, I could not reproduce this issue. Try upgrading to 0.1.381 to be able to see if you're entering valid credentials in the first place.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Paul,

Could you please help me debug this issue?

HgLab uses cookies for authentication and there's a "well-known" "problem" with them: http://stackoverflow.com/q/1134290/60188

Can you please inspect (with Firebug, Fiddler or Chrome Developer Tools) whether hglab.authentication cookie is actually being set (and its actual value) in a response after hitting "Signin" on /signin and whether it's transmitted back with subsequent requests to other pages.

    Thanks in advance!

    I've installed framework version 4.5.50709.

Also, I am using an amazon EC2 instance. Would it be useful for you/we to set up another in order to reproduce the problem.?

I have the same problem, the correct credentials submitted returns a 302 redirect to /dashboard which returns a 302 redirect back to /signin?to=%252fdashboard.
