Hopefully these discussions are being monitored ...

I have recently decided to move our software projects from a remote Kiln repository, to our local network. To this end I have setup HgLab on one of our servers and started creating the requisite projects and repositories. I have set the HgLab web site to be connected via https, but when I try and push my pre-existing Mercurial-managed source code to the new repository location I receive the following error:

C:\Software Projects\C4All Reporter>hg push --debug -v --traceback https://mercurial..com/hg/c4allreporter/root
pushing to https://mercurial.

I normally use TortoiseHg, which exhibits the same error when trying to push to the server. I've done a lot of Google-ing for problems relating to Mercurial over https, but haven't found anything that solves my problem.

The issue appears to be a 401 response, indicating that at some point authorisation has failed. The client and server concerned both run within the same internal domain, but I have set up a Mercurial username which is different to my domain username; I don't know if that might be causing the problem ?

Do you have any suggestions for what I might be able to try in order to solve this problem ?
